F.A.Q.'s

What does the terminology "Quickpages" actually mean?
Quickpages are quick because they are scrapbook designs that are ready to add your pictures and text. All you need to do is click one, drag and drop your photos, add text and place order. No stressing, designing or cutting and pasting is necessary. This is for all the super busy women who love good design but don't have the time to do it themselves.

Do I need templates or special software to use your site?
No, We have a completely free graphics program available to download so you can get started right away even if you have never digi-scrapped before.  Our software is self contained with ready to finish pages.

What type of internet connection do I need?
A high speed internet connection is preferred but a dial-up connection shouldn't time out if you are downloading the software for the first time.  The software does need to be left open until the upload is done. The software once downloaded works like any other program on your computer. Internet connection is only needed opening the program and when uploading you order.

I cannot seem to get the Create Your Page software to load on my computer. Why?
In order for the program to load you must have a minimum 500MHz speed processor with 256MB RAM and the latest Java Runtime loaded from www.java.com/en/ Apple users can obtain Java from www.apple.com/macosx/features/java/ Any Java capable system can be used, so Apple OS X 10.3 or higher, Linux, and all current versions of Windows will support the application.

I have the latest version of Java installed, but I'm still having problems loading the Create Your Page software.

Can you tell me how to navigate through the Create Your Page software?
Go to the Home Page and click on the Tutorial's There you should find information on how to work the software and place an order.

Will the Create Your Page software create an icon for my desktop?
Yes, every time you open the application, your catalog will update with the newest pages. Our World Class Designers are working around the clock to bring you the latest designs.

The quality of the Pages looks good on my monitor. Does this represent the quality of the print I will receive when ordering from the Create Your Page software?
Actually, your prints will be much more vivid and have more detail in them. Please remember, the Catalog thumbnails are only for your viewing pleasure and were created at100dpi to help speed up the software you are using. The actual prints you will receive are archival and very high quality, and are printed at 300dpi.

You have hundreds of Quickpage selections, but I don't see what I'm looking for.
Click here for a special searchable catalog. Simply select the search bar located in the lower right hand corner of the page, type in a word that closely matches what you are looking for (Blue Ribbon, Hearts, Elegant,) and select the search button. Once you have located the item, remember the location and return to the Bella scrapbook screen, relocate it and click to use. Some of our page designs would work in multiple categories, but are only listed in one each.

What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay using your Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover card.

Print Questions:

Your home page says 12x12's start at $1.80, but when I open the software I see $2.95, $3.65 & $4.50 selections for the 12x12's
If you have purchased a Digital Scrapbook Kit from a designer on the Web and wish to have it printed as a 12x12, we will be happy to do that for $1.80 Instead of selecting a pre built QuickPage, select a 12x12 blank instead, and upload your own artwork for printing. If you select one of our QuickPages and upload your image for printing, the file is sent to us unassembled. When sent unassembled, we are able to color correct, adjust the density, exposure and sharpen the image separate from the Quickpage. In other words, the color of your QuickPage will not be affected by the adjustments. If you build your own Page, and send it flattened with the photo, we will not color correct your print because we cannot do so without affecting the artwork.

What is the quality of the prints?
Our prints are archival and very high quality, produced on an award winning high-end dry printer. The manufacturer calls the paper a Semi-Glossy, or Luster paper. These are rich vivid colors, and beautiful! The image is printed edge to edge, with no need for trimming. (We allow only a 1/16 inch for trimming ) The paper is water resistant, we have soaked these prints in water all night to find absolutely no damage to them the next morning.

If my photos are a bit dark or light, can you fix that?
Absolutely. Complementary color correction is a service we provide free of charge with every order. When you send your order, the photos can be altered apart from the background, so the color correction will leave your chosen page design exactly as it was ordered.

How long will your prints last?
Our prints are Archival Quality, and will last for many generations if taken care of properly. Manufacturer states 100-200 years. If you need further information, click on this link.

I see a watermark on the screen when I am laying out my page - will the print have the watermark on it?
No. The watermark is a screen only view to protect the digital images from being mass produced.

Can I order smaller prints of the 12 x 12 designed prints?
From the 12x12 tab smaller prints may be ordered by choosing the size options, the price in parenthsis is deducted from the 12x12 price. After your page is done to your satisfaction, you can order more of the same size or any smaller size as well. Great as gifts!

How do I decide on a page size?
Beyond personal preference, there are a few factors you may want to take into consideration -
•  Availability of albums and page protectors.  While 12"x12" pages are industry standard in both paper and digital scrapbooking. 10x10 is a standard in the wedding album industry. 8x8, 6x6, 5x7, & 4x6 albums are available too.
•  Price. Larger albums are more expensive.
•  Portability. A 8x8 or 4x6 brag book may be easier to bring with you if you want to take your albums with you.
•  The size of your images. If your digital camera is set to hold more photos on a card than your images are not as high quality as they could be. Always choose the least amount of pictures per card to get the highest quality prints!
•  Our pages fit into most standard size albums
